LATEST UPDATE - JULY 2021 -
WE ARE OFFICIALLY OUTSTANDING!
A note from Katrina, the Nursery Manager -
My team and I are all extremely passionate and dedicated in what we do to support the children and their families. The last 18 months have been a rollercoaster of emotions, but we have proven 'with flying colours' that our dedication and hard work is invaluable to all who use our provision. I am incredibly proud of the team, who are not just colleagues, but are a strong, and hard working 'family'.
We have dealt with a difficult inspection, a huge confidence knock and a pandemic the likes of which we have never seen - but we have remained strong, and have made it through this time staying Covid free!
I am honoured to lead this amazing team, I cannot wait to see what the next year brings us, and I look forward to celebrating our 20th birthday in style in 2025!
----------------------------
Our nursery has been operating since January 2005 and has gone from strength to strength thanks to the amazing team we have in-setting and those supporting us ‘behind the scenes’.
We were incredibly proud to receive an Outstanding grading from Ofsted in March 2015!
As you will see from our latest full Ofsted report, in November 2019 we were graded Requires Improvement which was a huge disappointment to everyone involved with the setting.
However, we picked ourselves up, dusted off our superhero capes and carried on, with even more determination to show that we are truly dedicated to promoting the care, education and wellbeing of our precious little ones.
Instead of seeing the judgement as a negative, we reflected on every aspect of our nursery and made some changes to how we do what we do, so that we can ensure the very best outcomes for the children we care for.
Some improvements we made include:
On 16th October 2020 we had an interim Ofsted visit; this was due to inspections being suspended during the Coronavirus Pandemic. The inspector was satisfied that we have made changes to meet the recommendations and this is published in the latest report.
We are looking forward to Inspections resuming so that we can show Ofsted that we truly are Outstanding!
